Our Birth
We started our journey by creating a Mobile App which could assist a person trying to have a healthy diet. We first started by creating Modules which could ease up the process of Nutrition Calculation with standard health practices. Being able to Track the Nutrition, Reports, Step counter and other features were also in the list. We called it Enginar.
One year later
We realized that the major problem with Dieting is not just a Tool to control the Nutritions, rather is Psychological issues which could be better addressed via a Dietitian’s assistance. So we decided to Integrate the Mobile App with a Web Panel for Dietitians so that they could collaborate.
The Good News
Everything was going good, we were keep getting positive feedbacks from the Dietitians about the product itself but we missed the fact now that the product became a Marketplace and we needed a big investments to take it from there. Since raising investment is a very time consuming process a Professor from a decent University recommended us to create an Academician Module which could help the Students gather surveys via the App. We thought that those deals could buy us time until we get the investments.
The Bad News
We started building the Academician Module and it took us nearly 8 months to finish. Our friend the Professor was very helpful during the whole process and we were very hopeful to get those Deals. We even had Demos prior to finishing to 2 Universities and they were very pleased with the product. Unfortunately we could not sign any deal and we were going out of budget. We went All-In to raise investment, we even tried to propose parts of the product as services to other companies. Yet again destiny was not on our side.
Restart
We decided to call it a day, and let Enginar be a challenging history. We restarted by doing outsource projects and YogaŞala was our first. We are planning to expand our Portfolio by doing more projects. Since we have lots of ready and tested components from now on, we can easily create new products for other clients.
